Playgrounds of Our Yesteryears is a typography mini-zine project featuring a collection of typographic image compositions based on some of Singapore’s iconic mosaic playgrounds that were created in the 70’s

Using the typeface Cochin, which was adapted for Linotype in the same time period. Through the unique and old-text like type anatomy of the typeface, the sense of nostalgic childhood is evoked.
